3 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga is the shortest tour. Therefore, this tour will be more driving than exploring. However, you will be able to visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and Todgha gorges. Also, Merzouga Sahara and Ouarzazate.

Day 1: Marrakech - Tizi -n-Tichka - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges:

Our first day of 3 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will be a visit to the argan oil cooperative and cross the high atlas mountains. Thereafter, you will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate, the two famous places in the Southeast of Morocco. The first one is famous for being counted as a UNESCO world heritage site, and the second is famous for being a destination for moviemakers all over the world. However, lunch will be served in one of these two places. After enjoying a Moroccan traditional meal, you will visit the monkey toes mountains and curves of Tisdrine.

The night will be in Gorges Dades Riad/Hotel.

Day 2: Dades Gorges - Tenghir - Todra Gorges - Tinjdad - Erfoud - Merzouga(Night in desert)

On the second day of our tour, you will visit the Canyons of Todgha. One of the famous places for taking pictures wit its canyons that are about 300 height. Also, on the way you will visit one of the Berbers clothing cooperatives.

Thereafter, when you arrive at Merzouga, you will do the camel trekking to camping in our camp. In general, our unforgettable night will start with arriving in the camp. After that our team will serve you dinner and play you drums next to the campfire under the starry sky.

Day 3: Camel Trekking back to Merzouga - Atlas mountains - Back to Marrakech:

The last day of our trip will be more driving than the previous days. Therefore, after you do a camel ride back to Merzouga, we will drive you back to Marrakech. Before we will drive on a different road called Ait Saouen, we will stop at Alnif and Agdz for lunch.

Eventually, we will drive back again through the High Atlas Mountains and this is how our Marrakech 3 day itinerary ends.

Early morning or afternoon is a favorite period to visit the marketsThere are great public auctions where you can buy the best goods at premium prices.You can also wander around the markets for 3 hours straight, Souk Smarine Street is one of the souks, the main textiles located near ouessabine mosque is also considered a major attraction for tourists.

Jamaa El-Fna is another important tourist destination; it is a major square and a marketin the middle quarter or the old city.You can visit him during the day and find many orange juice stalls, water vendors dressed in colorful costumes, and magicians who use snakes and chained monkeys. The Square of Jamaa El Fna you can also find the terraces of cafés and see the market, but away from the noise and the heavy traffic.

Tizi -n-Tichka

Tizi Ntichka is one of the unique roads in the kingdom of Morocco. It is in the shape of a curved road that is about 200 km. Along the way lies many different Berber villages and cooperatives of Argan oil where we usually stop as a break. Almost in the middle of this curved road lies one of the best panoramic places in Morocco, about 2260m high.

Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou

In the province of Ouarzazate there is a town called Ait Ben Haddou. a bunch of fortified Kasbahs or castles. With our privet and group tours in Marrakech camel trips we make stop in this amazing place in most of our tours (the place is located between Ouarzazate and the Sahara Desert of Merzouga, so any trip from either Marrakech or Ouarzazate to the desert it is inevitable to take a brake there.

This old fortified village is one of the Moroccan UNESCO world heritage sites, and the most visited place in our tours. Despite the fact that the place looks ancient it has some luxuries place as hotels restaurants etc. To have the best view of the village some choose take pictures from the valley downhill and some choose to climb the stairs all the way up the castles. The tourists are not the only ones who favor the charm of Ait Ben Haddou but also the world known directors and film makers who shot many successful movies in this site such as the gladiator

Todra Gorges called Tingher .

Todgha Gorge in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains is an astonishing view and definitely one of the most known places in the southeast of Morocco. The place is only a few miles away from a city called Tingher (between Marrakech and the Sahara Desert of Merzouga). The ending of the canyon is much more attractive to the tourists.

Dades Gorges and Todgha Gorges

North-west of Rissani and northeast of Ouarzazate, just on the road from Tinghir, are the Todgha Gorge.Driving on the small wind-blown road will require all your attention, as the lush palm groves below are well known for causing misadventures even to the most skilled drivers, continuing halfway through, you can stop at the famous source of the Sacred Fish, which deserves a quick photo; but it is better not to dwell on it because a crowd of children will come to annoy you by trying to sell you their handmade goods.

Hiking in the Todgha Gorge is a great way to spend a cooler day than in the hot, dusty towns near Tinghir.Many hotels offer one- or more day guided tours around the gorges, While you are hiking in the surrounding area, you can photograph the passing shepherd who always wants to be photographed for a few dirhams.Along the way, you can also photograph nomadic tribes working or blowing fire in their black tents.You can also capture images of many species of birds, such as eagles or doves, not far from Todgha’s gorge, lays her most beautiful and arguably older sister – the Dades Gorge.These gorges are located just southwest of Tinghir some 110 km from Ouarzazate.

The entrance to Dades Gorge starts on a paved road, but further on, it’s best to explore it while walking, unless you have a 4/4 with excellent ground clearance.

We did a 3 day, 2 night trip from Marrakech to the Sahara and back. Rashid, our guide was friendly and kind. Our 17 month old loved him! Everyone on the tour was helpful. We chose the superior package and did not regret our decision, especially with a 1 and a half year old. Would recommend!

My wife and I took out 1 and a half year old son on this trip and it was amazing. He had fun, the people we met were all so kind and welcoming, and they provided a kids car seat for the long trips. The car rides have plenty of stops to take pictures so he did not get too restless. Also, my wife has a gluten allergy and everywhere we went people understood what that meant and we're accommodating. Our guide was Rashid and he was so fun! Good driver, helpful tour guide, great with our little one! The only thing I recommend is a longer trip. We did the 2-night option and it was all just very fast. 3 or 4 nights would give more time for rest and recreation.
