Our Fes Desert tours 5 days begins with picking you up from your accommodation in Fes heading to Todra Gorges. We will pass by the both Ifrane and the Cedar forest. In general, we will drive through the high and Middle Atlas Mountains. Lunch will be served in Midelt’s region in the city of Zaida. Finally, we will be passing by Imilchil in the Middle Atlas Mountains. In a while we will have arrived at Todra where we will spend the night.
The second day of our 5 days tour from Fes to Merzouga will be a trip to the desert. First of all we will pass by some unique cities in the southeast of Morocco such as Tinghir and Tinjedad. Finally, we will arrive at the desert. We will take the camels and drive in the dunes. In general, today you will assist for the sunset, enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal and listen to Berber music under the stars.
As mentioned the third day will be all spent in discovering the desert area. Usually, the desert trip starts by visiting the Berber Nomads. They are considered as the indigenous people of Morocco. Further, the desert tour continues, this time we will be traveling through many panoramic places. We will arrive at a mine of kohl that was colonized and used by the French administration. The desert trip continues, this time we will be heading to Khamlia and explore the Gnawa People and their music. Some of the next destinations that we will visit, there is the Morocco National Auto Museum and some of the desert Oases.
Today, after having breakfast we will take the camels back from the camp and drive to spend the night in Midelt, the first city in Morocco when it comes to producing apples. Firstly, we will stop by Ziz valley, the biggest source of dates in Morocco with its thousands of palm trees. In the evening we will have arrived at Midelt where the fourth day of our 5 days tour from Fes to Merzouga ends.
On the last day of our 5 days Fes To Merzouga Sahara desert tour we will be heading to Fes. we will drive through the High Atlas Mountains, however, we would make stops on the way to allow you to enjoy the views and take pictures. first of all, we will stop by the Cedar forest and its Barbary Macaques. We continue traveling, this time we will stop by the cleanest city in Morocco and Africa. However, after exploring this latter, we will have to leave to Fes where our tour ends.
