    Itinerary

    Day 1Ifrane- Azrou- Midelt-Errachidia-Erfoud-Merzouga.

On the first day of our 2 days desert tour from Fes to Merzouga, we will visit many places before we arrive in the desert. To start with, after we meet you at Fes, we will take you across the middle atlas mountains to Imouzar. Then, we can stop for breakfast before we leave for Ifrane. There, we will make a quick stop to visit the statute of the atlas lion. In other words, the statue was built by a German prisoner to gain his freedom from the French. Then, we will drive to the Cedar forest, we will stop to visit the monkeys, one of the left animals in the atlas. Thereafter, we will drive through the pass of Ait Ouflla to arrive at Midelt. The city is famous for the apple trees, each year it exports them abroad.

After lunch, we will continue our Fes to Merzouga trip across the pass of Tlghomt. In other words, the female camel. After that, we will stop at a panoramic view of the dam of Errachidia, where the government keeps the water for the desert. Then, we will make another stop at the top of the valley of Ziz, the biggest source of dates in the desert. Later, we will pass by Erfoud, the city where they make an international festival of dates. Also, Erfoud is famous for the mineral fossils that they export to Phoenix, Arizona.

Eventually, we will arrive at Merzouga Sahara desert after a long day from Fes. Before, we will stop for a panoramic view of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Then, we will take you on the camels on those dunes. depending on time, we could either see the sunset on the dunes or after we arrive at our Berber luxury desert camp. There, you will enjoy our team of Berbers playing music after they set fire. Then, it is recommended to climb up the dunes to watch the beauty of the stars and the milky way.

    Day 2Merzouga back to Fes.

We will take you back on the camels to Merzouga and later to Fes. Before, we will stop at the souk of Erfoud if you want to try the fruits of the date. Next, we will visit one of the museums of the fossils in the same city.
