Highlights of our Morocco Tours.

Marrakech Camel Trips travel agency takes you to visit Marrakech .

Marrakech, the Red City, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco. Along with fez Rabat and Meknes. No one denies the fact that it is the ideal destination of every tourist seeking beauty. Before diving deep into the current details of the city. I see that it is necessary to tell a bit about the history of Marrakech. It all began with Yusuf ibn Tashafin, the Almoravid king. Starting the city and taking it as the capital of his kingdom, which helped in the fast growth of Marrakech.

It was just a matter of time before Marrakech starts itself as trading, religious, and cultural center known in all the neighboring kingdoms. Soon enough Marrakech became the crossroads of every caravan of merchants coming from whatever direction to whatever destination. Those thriving times were the birth of many fascinating buildings of which Quranic schools and mosques were dominant. Some of them are still standing till the present days indicting the glorious days of Marrakech which didn’t last any longer after the fall of the great Almoravid kingdom.

Fez became Marrakech’s successor as a capital. The Red City was left to die. But the 16 century was when the city took back its glory. More monuments were built some with imported material the old ones were renewed. The city was alive once again, and still at the moment with its UNESCO world heritage sites. Here are some of the best places in Marrakech to visit. Jemaa el-Fnaa, the magical square, known all over the world for its art, food, and charm. Also, Marrakech is famous for its markets where you can buy any type of craft you desire. Besides to city walls, made of red sandstone, and fascinating gates, Gardens, palaces and Riads, Mosques, Tombs, and hotels. Fortunately, with our Marrakech Camel Trips travel agency, we offer you the chance to visit this beautiful destination.

Rabat .

One of our Marrakech camel trips travel agency’s destinations and one of the tourist favorite is Rabat the capital city of Morocco. Definitely, one of the Moroccan richest cities in terms of culture, architecture, and geography. Wondering around it an adventure itself. Once we get there I assure you will wish to stay for a lifetime. The city is a modern one yet it preserved its monuments, for instance, the Kasbah of the Oudaias, a fortified castle which overlooks the sea, the Andalusian gardens in its base are also a view you don’t want to miss, giving the fact that this area is ancient people still live there.

With free admission, Hassan Tower is for sure your ticket to the past. standing there takes to middle ages. And There is Bab er-Rouah, a gate surrounded by two towers. It’s a fortress decorated with stones. The gate was recently renovated and its interior is an art gallery at the main time.

Besides historical monuments such as mosques tombs and castles. The city has an interesting side. Rabat hosts one of the biggest festivals over the globe Mazawine annually. if you planned your tripe to that time of the year you can be among the 2 million attendees. expect to see the elite of artists performing on the stage.

The food you can find in Rabat is one of the most things that might attract you to the capital. Here you can find any type of food you desire from fast foods to fancy restaurants, local or international it’s all available here.

Meknes.

In order to make the best of your tours, we take you to places that worth your visit. this time I’m going to talk a bit about Meknes to give a better picture of our Morocco tours there. for the record, Meknes witnessed its glory in the days of the king Moulay Ismail who made the city the capital of his kingdom. The queen was not that pleased with his choice. she was a sea lover. To satisfy her Moulay Ismail brought the sea to her doorstep. He built Sahrij Swani, a pool in the middle of the city, bringing water from a neighbor town. The place is still standing and it welcomes the tourists. Sahrij is not that far from another monument Lhdim square, this place is a replica of Jemaa el-fana in Marrakech, in front of the square there is a famous gate called Mansour gate, one of the most fascinating gates in morocco.

The gates are not the only impressive buildings in Meknes, towers are also a part of the heritage that this city holds, Belkari tower is one of them which became a museum of pottery since 2003, the toner gets most of its charm from being a part of the wall (this wall was built in order to fortify the city.

Despite the fact that the city is a real charmer, the neighbor locations have a fair share of this charm. The most famous one they is Volubilis, a trace of once a glorious Roman building, located in about half an hour to the north. it is also another UNESCO World Heritage Site in Morocco. Another one is Moulay Idriss or Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, a town speeded over two hills, known mainly for Zawiya of Moulay Idris.

Merzouga Desert.

Merzouga, the highlight of our Marrakech camel trips travel agency Our client’s ideal place is the Sahara desert of Merzouga. This small fascinating town is surrounded with seas of golden sands and “ergs”. These huge bodies of sand change their shape during the wind seasons, this change makes every and each of your visits so unique, like you are in a totally different place, one of the biggest sand dunes in Merzouga is ERG Chebbi, about a 500 feet high of windblown sand creating a masterpiece. This erg is not the only in the area but there is a chain of them all over the place. Tourists clamp these dunes to take what will probably be the best pictures of their lives. Taking the pictures is not the only thing that attracts the tourists to the dunes, but also watching the sunrise or the sunset. This view from the top of the erg epic is the least I can say about it.

The way up the dunes isn’t easy as it seems. Going all the way up just on feet is unlikely, it takes time and effort, 90% of tourists take a ride on the camels the way up. Morocco camel rides is among the best activities that one might do in Merzouga some get scared just before getting used to it. Unlike most of the tourists who goes to the available fancy hotels in the area, there is a group that prefers camping or booking in tents in order to live the experience and see the beauty of the rural Amazigh lifestyle. Not to mention that our firm stuff is originally from here and we assure you that we will make the best of your time here.

Walk around Fes.

In our Morocco desert tours, there is a no less interesting destination. We choose the best places that will not only entertain but also educate you. Fes is definitely one of these places. with its rich and glorious history, Fez is considered the cultural capital of Morocco, it is also the second biggest city in the country. The first university in the world is in this city. It is called The University of Al Quaraouiyine. Fatima al-Fihri built it, and it is still operating today. The Marrakech Camel Trips travel agency’s clients prefer going to the old medina. All the streets are like Aladdin caves. Merchants are all over the place with their traditional colorful well-made craft.

Fes is a handful of places waiting to be explored. For instance, as all the Moroccan cities Fez has a set of worship places built in Andalusian-Arab styles such as the early mentioned university and its associated mosque. Another monument is city walls and gates, the city was heavily fortified during the Almoravid rule, besides the walls and gates the rulers built a number forts and kasbahs, which are all still standing. One the one reaches the heart of the city the one can only be amazed, the Tanneries. The Chouara one in particular forms a breathtaking view, it is the largest one of its kind in the city, it was built since the 11th century and still active today. Since the tanning is the most thing attracting the tourist in the city, Marrakech Camel Trips travel agency makes sure that you visit this place and others like it with our professional guides.

Discover Casablanca.

Casablanca the name is in Spanish and it means the white house (it has nothing to do with the American one), but before the city had a beber name ANFA means hill in English. Most of the touring starts from there. the city ls the largest one in Morocco, located in the central-western part. Since Casablanca is considered to be the economic center, most of trading and industrial headquarters are located there. It also has one of the biggest and the busiest international airport in the whole country.

Tourist biggest interest in Morocco is focused mainly on HASSAN 2 MOSQUE, the second largest mosque in Africa and the 7th in the world. The marinara is 689 ft tall. The mosque is built the Andalusian-Arab style. Part of it was built on the sea. The building includes many different parts such as a library, a museum…. The visits to the place are daily except for Friday. The visitors each day are organized into groups at 9, 11 Am, and 4 Pm.

Casablanca is also famous for la Corniche. With fascinating Atlantic beach b clubs, and fancy French restaurants with the sea view. The beach attracts sunbathers and surfers in the summer. Join our Morocco desert tours with the best travel agency and enjoy discovering this city in the best way.

Will explore Tangier.

Read about the experience of our clients

This trip was an incredible part of our honeymoon in Morocco. Our driver, Zaid, was excellent the whole way through — very funny and warm and accommodating to any stop or small detour we wanted to make. The highlights for us were unquestionably feeding the berber monkeys and riding through the Sahara desert by camel. It truly felt like we were in a movie, the scenery was so unbelievably breathtaking. An absolute once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our camp in the desert was much more modern and comfortable than we expected -- better than some of the riads we've stayed at during our trip. And the staff at the camp were so thoughtful and generous, and they surprised us with a song, dance and cake to celebrate our honeymoon. It was genuinely one of the nicest moments we've experienced, and we'll remember it forever. The rest of our tour was incredible as well, and we very much enjoyed seeing so much of Morocco. The country's natural beauty was a surprise to us, but every view along the drive is so special.

A friend recommended us to try the tour and it was definitely one of the best tours of my life. You are greeted with fantastic staff. Our guide was knowledgeable and kind. When we got to the camp it was like paradise. The tent was clean and had plenty of hot water in our private washroom. The food was authentic and delicious. At the end of the night we played music together under the Milky Way. The staff are very kind and humorous. They really know how to give you the best experience in the Sahara desert. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Morocco. Thank you guys! Ichwaa!!

We read a ton of reviews before picking this trip. It was super confusing and discouraging since all of the names sounded so similar and there are some majorly crap stories out there. We saw a lot of decent reviews on TA and rolled the dice on Marrakech Camel Trips. Brahim is the owner and was very quick to respond and helped us set everything up. We got picked up from our riad in Marrakech on time and headed off. We chose to do standard hotel and luxury tent. We also decided to do a private trip with just the two of us to have a bit more freedom. The first day was good and our driver/guide Rachad was very friendly and informative. He allowed us to stop as much or as little as we liked. He was completely flexible about where to eat although we did take his suggestions sometimes and were not disappointed (big ups to the Moroccan Pizza). The standard hotel on the first night was nice and the dinner was decent. Definitely nothing to complain about at all, no idea what the luxury hotel was like though. On the way we also stopped at Ait Ben Haddou but we didn’t care about Atlas Studios so we skipped it. Rachad drove us to the desert Ythe next day and we took camel rides out to our camp. All was great. The luxury camp was wonderful. The food was great. They provided free snowboard to ride down the dunes. They play traditional music around a fire after dinner. But if you don’t need want to participate, they were all really cool with that as well. Very relaxed and accommodating. The tents were so fantastic and the desert was so lovely that we hit up Brahim (the owner) and asked to stay another day. We arranged it and it was no problem. Then my wife went on a little tour of the area while I rented a Quad Bike and zoomed around the dunes. After our extended desert stay we headed to Fez. Pretty drive and a few stops with monkeys and a nice little ski town and then Rachad walked us to our riad door to make sure we didn’t get lost. We loved everything about the trip and have already told our friends to take it as soon as they arrive in Morocco in a few days.

Fun family trip from Fes to Marrakech

My wife and I just completed a 4 day 3 Night tour from Fes to Marrakesh via the desert and dunes of Erg Chebbi. We can’t say enough good things about the experience. All of the stops were well planned. The hotels and desert camp were all first rate. The night in Erg Chebbi in particular was amazing. But Best of all our guide Aziz and driver Ali B, were great companions. Totally professional, always on time, gracious, friendly,

Amazing experience with Aziz and Ali

I would rate 10 stars for this tour if I can! We spent 3 wonderful day from Marrakech to Fes. The staff here is really warm and helpful. Our driver and guider are both named Ali. They shared us a lot of interesting stories and traditions during the road trip and took care of both of us. The food was very delicious and fancy. We had a pretty romantic dinner under the Milky Way in desert. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Amazing experience, don't miss it!

We decided to travel around Morocco to escape a bit from the routine and....we did it! Our journey to the dessert with the 'crazy' driver Ali and our guide Prince Aziz was one of the best experience we had. 3 days full of energy, songs, interesting discussions, sightseeing, local food, camels and the most important thing, new friends! Thanks to the stuff and especially to Aziz and Ali, for sure we will back, let's say more or less next year!
