Itinerario
Giorno 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes.
Il primo giorno del tour di 4 giorni da Casablanca a Marrakech attraverso il deserto del Sahara, verremo a prendervi all’aeroporto di Casablanca. Successivamente, visiteremo la Moschea Hassan II, quindi ci dirigeremo verso Meknes passando per Rabat, la capitale del Marocco, e visiteremo tutti i siti disponibili lungo il percorso. Ci dirigeremo quindi verso Volubilis per esplorare le rovine romane, situate vicino alla città di Meknes. Continueremo verso il centro religioso del Marocco, Fez, dove pernotteremo in un tradizionale riad locale.
Giorno 2: Da Fes a Merzouga
Dopo colazione, proseguiamo verso sud fuori da Fez e ci fermiamo a Ifrane, la Svizzera del Marocco, e alla foresta di cedri di Azrou, dove incontriamo diverse scimmie barbariche. Successivamente, attraversiamo alcuni insediamenti berberi mentre percorriamo la valle dello Ziz fino ad arrivare al deserto di Merzouga, dove passeremo ai cammelli e cavalcheremo attraverso le dune per raggiungere il centro del deserto. Durante il tragitto, ci fermeremo per ammirare lo splendido tramonto. Dormirete in una tenda nomade berbera nel campeggio, godendovi l’immenso cielo aperto pieno di stelle scintillanti, il cibo marocchino e il suono dei tamburi.
Giorno 3: Merzouga – Erfoud – Gole del Todra – Gole del Dades – Valle del Dades – Valle delle Rose – Ouarzazate.
Svegliatevi presto per ammirare lo spettacolare tramonto e l’inizio di un nuovo giorno, che inizieremo tornando in cammello all’hotel per fare colazione e una doccia. Poi ci dirigeremo verso Ouarzazate. Lungo la strada, visiteremo il souk di Rissani e ci faremo una passeggiata. Faremo un’altra sosta a Erfoud, famosa per lo scavo e la lavorazione dei fossili, e visiteremo uno dei laboratori di produzione di fossili di marmo. Percorreremo il Jbel Saghro e attraverseremo l’oasi del Dades. Faremo una sosta alle Gole del Todra e potrete passeggiare liberamente al loro interno. Attraverseremo la Valle delle Rose e visiteremo la Kasbah di Amridil a Skoura prima di arrivare a Ouarzazate. Cena e pernottamento in hotel.
4° giorno: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech.
Dopo colazione, escursione di un’intera giornata a Ouarzazate: la Kasbah di Taourirt, visita agli studi cinematografici. Visita alla Kasbah di Ait Ben Haddou, in passato punto di sosta per le carovane e oggi location per le riprese di numerosi film internazionali. Pranzo in un ristorante con vista sulla Kasbah. Attraversamento delle montagne dell’Alto Atlante, godendosi il panorama mentre si attraversa il passo Tizi-Ntichka. Arrivo a Marrakech. Cena e pernottamento in un riad. Fine del tour di 4 giorni da Casablanca a Marrakech attraverso il deserto del Sahara.

Barak made us feel very safe and we'll respected. He also made the trek very enjoyable with his great sense of humour and story telling. Barak is a local Berber who is extremely proud of his country and well connected to the people. He was easily able to tell us about both historic and present conditions. I can’t tell you enough how wonderful our experience was. We started our 7 day tour off in Casablanca where we’re picked up right on time from our Airbnb. We then headed to Chefchaouen where we had a beautiful day touring the city on our own with his recommendations. We stayed at a cute little Riad and had a delicious breakfast. Then we headed to Fes with a quick stop in Meknes. He brought us to some really cool places to see local artisans, making pottery and leather. Then we went through the Dades valley and ultimately to Marrakech. Everything from start to finish was top-notch. The driving from each location was probably our most favorite because we stopped at some really cool places and got to see a lot in a short amount of time. Having lunch with our tour guide was so fun as well! He would take us to local places. I always felt safe and never got sick from eating the local food. This trip was truly amazing and that was because Marrakech Camel Trips was so totally organized and have the best vehicle for the guests and the best tour guides. My girlfriend and I completed a 4 day tour from Marrakech to the Merzouga Desert and back, and this was the way to do it. I would recommend the extra day as it breaks up the long drive and allows you to take more time to enjoy the sights. Mubarak was a great guide, taking us to various lookouts and points of interest along the way. He was very informative, telling us all about the Berber people, the different trades and agricultural practices, and pointing out different crops and livestock. Travelling around in his car was a much better experience than all the large busses, and Mubarak was more than happy to do whatever we asked of him. We couldn’t have had a better time! In the desert, camel riding, sandboarding, and quad biking are experiences that you should not pass up on. In Ouarzazate, I would say skip the studio tour unless you’re a big fan of a particular movie. Be prepared for 5+ hours a day driving as it can get a little tiresome.Posted on Kashmala HVerified Marrakech to Merzouga private tour We did the 4 day Marrakech to Merzouga tour with Mubarak, he was a wonderful guide and driver we felt safe and he was happy to answer any questions we had along the way. The accommodations are nice and clean, and the views on the drive were incredible. We overall felt the value for money was good considering we got driven around privately the entire time, didn’t have to plan anything and the camel ride and dinners/breakfast was included. We booked through whatsapp and were a bit apprehensive but Brahim is very professional and trustworthy. One thing that could be improved is lunch stops, they were sometimes at very touristy places with higher prices and set menus. It seems the tour is what you want it to be, so I think if you have places you want to go it’s better to be vocal and tell your driver early and they would be happy to comply. Also, payment can be hard if you don’t have the ability to get cash out (a lot of the ATMs don’t give out more than 1000MAD and my card was always denied so my partner could only get out cash). Therefore we ended up paying quite a bit in a surcharge which could’ve been avoided if we had planned in advance to get enough cash.
