La prima sera c’è stata una brutta alluvione ma Ali ha riprogrammato il tour in modo da riuscire ugualmente a vedere le cose prefissate. Grazie a lui siamo riusciti ad arrivare nel deserto in tempo per le attività malgrado una strada chiusa grazie a percorsi alternativi. The trip included a camel ride and an overnight stay in the desert. We enjoyed very much the camel ride to the camp during sunset. The camp was clean, comfortable and luxurious. It was an unforgettable experience sitting around the campfire, singing Berber songs and leaning how to roll our tongues to mimic some unique sounds from the language. We had a fantastic time during our 4-day trip with Marrakech Camel Trips (“Standard Accommodation” option), from pickup in Marrakech to drop-off in Fes. Our guide and driver, Elhoucine, was truly amazing and he made the trip incredibly special for us. We immediately hit it off and were so happy to spend 4 days touring with him. Elhoucine was always friendly, cheerful, and knowledgeable about his beautiful country and its history, culture, and people. We enjoyed seeing and learning all that he shared with us, which was a lot! Mountains, lakes, rivers, palm tree groves, desert sand dunes, markets, music, friendly people, incredible food… there is so much to love about Morocco! Elhoucine made sure we were comfortable and well fed at all times. Every meal was delicious and healthy, and the accommodations (two hotels and one night in the desert camp) were absolutely wonderful! We became good friends with Elhoucine, and hope we will see him again someday, whether in Morocco, our home town in America, or some place in between.
We recently did a desert tour in Morocco and really enjoyed the experience overall. The landscapes were breathtaking, especially watching the sunset and sunrise over the dunes. The tour was 3 days, and covered everything from the Todras Gorges, Ifrain, the Atlas Mountains, the Sahara Desert and everything in between. While the drives were long, our guide made sure to stop for sites and lunches as much as possible all along the way, so the ride was fun and enjoyable. We opted for an ATV ride rather than riding a camel, for ethical reasons, which was a really fun way to experience the dunes! We stayed in a beautiful hotel the first night and in the luxury camp the second, which was a fun experience to meet other travellers and enjoy a drum show!
The organization of the tour was solid, and we didn’t have to plan anything. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, and we appreciated learning more about the local culture and traditions along the way. If you’re curious about the desert and want to experience something different and scenic, this is a great way to do it!

The tour itself was organised to perfection. We stayed two nights in beautiful locations where we were warmly received each time. The contact with the people there was warm and genuine – we had interesting conversations and felt really welcome everywhere.

The best trip we have ever taken in our lives! This 10-day tour from Tangier to Marrakech, passing through the desert, was a real wonder. The cities of Tangier, Chefchaouen and Fez left us impressed with their history and beauty, but the most special thing was our experience in the Sahara. Riding a camel at sunset and sleeping in a camp under a sky full of stars was an experience we will never forget. Every detail was carefully organized, and we felt very well looked after at all times. Marrakech, with its mix of tradition and modernity, was the icing on the cake. A 10-day trip that I definitely recommend.
