Finally, we are going to drive you to Marrakesh that is known worldwide for its position and its fantastic places. It is basically the place where our 10 days tour from Tangier ends.

10 Days Tangier Itinerary

Day 1: Tangier – Asilah

On the first of our 10 days tour from tangier, we are going to pick you up from Tangier, one the most attractive cities in the northern part of Morocco, and we are going to drive to Assilah. It is a fortified town on the northwest tip of the Atlantic coast of Morocco. 

 

You will enjoy the picturesqueness of that coastal city, not only not but its rich history makes it way more interesting. When we arrive there, we are going on nice sightseeing tour around the city and spend the night at the hotel.

In the morning, after a nice breakfast, we are going to set out for Tetouan city that is known for its amazing weather, white colored houses, and charming views. After touring tetouan city, we are going to drive to Chefchaouen or what is also known as the blue pearl. It is in northwest Morocco, and its blue streets and houses make it the most beautiful place to visit. Also, it is an opportunity if you like taking photographs; because most of Chefchaouens spots are breath taking. After our sightseeing tour, we are going to head to the hotel to spend the night.

On the second day of the 10 days desert tour from Tangier, we are going to drive through Rif villages and cities, namely Ouazzane and continue all the way to Volubilis, Moroccos famous site and one of the most attractive destination. When we arrive there we are going to take some pictures of the place and the grassy views nearby, not only that but we are also going to visit the so called holy city of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, and then drive into Meknes city in order to see its monuments; for instance , Bab Al Mansour: it is one of the giant gates in Morocco a beautifully built one; in addition to that, we are going to see the old Medina and the Mausoleum of Moulay ismail. After sighseeing Meknes, we are going to drive to Fez to spend the night there at the Riad.

Our fourth day of 4 Days Marrakech Itinerary will be about a drive to Marrakech. Our first destination is the Atlas Studios of Ouarzazate. We will drop by this place and have a walk around it. In general, it is a place where they make movies and it is famous worldwide. Then, we will be traveling through the kasbah of Telouet. After that, we will drive directly to Marrakech passing by the High Atlas Mountains.

After breakfast, our tour guide will take you to see Fez. One of the four imperial cities in morocco; he will take you to see top destinations in the city which we hope you like. Our tour guide and you are going to visit the old medina of Fez which was founded in the 9th century at around the time when Islam arrived in Morocco, and Fez’s old medina is one the oldest and biggest medinas in Morocco; its souks and alleyways make it the most wonderful place to visit in Morocco. Then we are going to see Bou Inania Madrassa which was built in the middle of the 1300 and has an enormous entrance door. After that, we are going to see Al Quaraouiyine University which is the oldest University in the whole world according to the UNESCO. Interestingly enough, it was founded by a woman and in 859. Later in the day, we are going to see other places in the city of Fez, and by nightfall we are going to head back to the Riad, have dinner and call it a night.

On the fifth day of our 10 days from Tangier, we are going to leave Fez and drive toward the Sahara Desert. on the way, we are going to visit the charming Ifran city that is known as the little Switzerland of Africa due to the fact that it has an amazing weather and snowy views during winter. we are also going to stop to see the beauty of Cedar forest with its giant trees and amiable monkeys that love travelers feeding them some food.

After that, we are going to carry on driving through the middle Atlas mountains where we are going to see fascinating views and take some memorable photographs; in addition to that, we are going to see Berber villages and simple houses that reflect another new lifestyle, and then we are going to see Ziz valley and continue to the Sahara desert with its wonderful weather that is completely different from other places. 

When we arrive in the desert, you are going to see the most impressive sand dunes and nomads who live in the area, and see the sunset from the highest sand dunes there. At night, you will be at the hotel resting and listening to Berber music, and you will enjoy the serenity of the desert at night.

After a peaceful night in the desert, we are going to wake you up early and take you on a tour around the desert in a 4 by 4 car to see nomads, talk, and have a tea with them; most importantly it is a great opportunity as you will be exploring the area as well as the simple lifestyle of Saharan nomads. Around sunset, camels will be there waiting to take you to see the sunset and enjoy that unforgettable moment. At night, our camels will drop you off at your well-equipped camp and it will a special night, as you will enjoy the food, Berber music and stargazing.

We are going to make sure you get up early, and our camels will take you to see the amazing sunrise and take some pictures at the top of the highest dunes in the Sahara. After that, we are going to head back to the camp, have breakfast and take a cozy and warm shower and then hit the road to Boumalne Dades. On the way there, we are going to stop by some places that are worth visiting; firstly, we are going to visit Rissani, a small town near the Sahara Desert.

It is basically known for the traditionality of both its people and the houses in which they live; in addition to that, we are also going to drop by to see some interesting museums, and then drive through some small villages, namely Erfoud, Mellab, Tinjdad all the way to Tinghir, a small town with exquisite palm trees and rocky mountain views as well as the popular Todgha gorge to which many climbers flock in order that they practice their sport and see the clean water that springs out of the mountains. We are going to have lunch there while watching the unique beauty of mountains and palm trees as well as people both foreign and local as they walk around. After our lunch, we are going to leave for Boumalne Dades to see its valley and spend the night there.

After breakfast at the hotel, we are going to drive to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou where some parts of famous movies like Gladiator, the Vikings and Babel took place…. And see the majestic houses of the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and the wonderful views of palm trees and the fascinating architecture as well as the simplicity of people and their Berber lifestyle. After that, we are going to carry on driving through High Atlas Mountains and Tizi N Tichka Pass all the way to Marrakesh. When we arrive there, we are going to have some rest and spend the night at the Riad.

The ninth day of our 10 days from Tangier is going to be a sightsee Marrakesh which is one of the largest cities in the kingdom of Morocco; it lies at foot of the high Atlas Mountains, and this makes its location incredibly beautiful. Marrakesh has many monuments and interesting things to see.

First, Jemaa El fnna which is a giant square right at the entrance to Marrakeshs old medina; it is known for its vividness there are snake charmers, story tellers, and some musicians as well as street vendors and many people wander around. Second, we are going to see the impressive minaret of Koutobia mosque, the symbol of Marrakesh. Embellished with some Quranic scriptures and has a fountain outside. Last but not least, we are going to see the gardens of Marrakesh mainly Majorelle and Menara; these gardens are known for their exquisite views and greenery that youd love to see, not only but we are also going to visit some attractive places.

On the last day of our 10 days tour from Tangier, we are going to wake up have breakfast and a cozy shower at the hotel. Then drive you to the airport so that you leave for your home country, and that will be the end of our 10 days tour from tangier.
