    Itinerary

    Day 1 Fes arrival.

    Our first day of the 8 days tour from Fes to Marrakech, starts by picking you up at the airport, then hit the road to the ancient part of Fez city. The old Madina for an overnight stay in a riad.

    Day 2Fes -Fes

    The second day of the 8 days tour from Fes to Marrakech is set to explore the city of Fez, one of the imperial cities in Morocco and the well-preserved ancient Islamic city in the world. We start by visiting the largest and most authentic medina, which is classified as a UNESCO heritage world site. With its incredible maze of medieval twisting alleys, blind turns, mosques, shrines, fountains, and every conceivable kind of market. This tour of historic Fez includes also Mellah- the Jewish quarter- the Royal Palace, the Sefarine Squares, and their fountains, the old Karaouine University. Dinner and overnight in a Riad.

    Day 3Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Ziz Gorges - Erfoud - Erg Chebbi.

    After breakfast, we drive south towards the Sahara desert of Merzouga, crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains and enjoy its breathtaking landscapes. Inhale the fresh air of cedars forest, and meet its lovely monkeys. Have stops for taking pictures of the splendid panoramic nature sceneries, while driving along the Ziz Valley and the palm groves of Tafilalet. Arriving at Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Dinner and overnight in a hotel near the dunes.

    Day 4 Desert excursion & camel trek.

    On this day of our 8 days tour Fes to Marrakech we get to learn more about the life of the Nomads in our off-road excursion to the breathtaking Erg Chebbi, attend African folkloric music and dance performance in Khamlia village, and walk in a desert oasis where we learn about the irrigation system of the area, witness the wildlife in Merzouga lake. Late afternoon, you switch to camels for what is the highlight of many people’s trips, camel ride into the dunes, stopping on the way see the beautiful sunset. Enjoy Berber music in a desert camp. Dinner and overnight back at your tent.

    Day 5 Erg Chebbi - Tinjdad - Todra Gorges - Tinghir - Boulemane Dades - Kalaa Magouna.

    On this day of our 8 days tour from Fes to Marrakech we wake early morning, to make sure not to miss the amazing sunrise. Return on camels to Merzouga. After breakfast, departure to the ancient town of Rissani, stroll in its souks a little bit. Then head to Todra Gorges, and wander in its magnificent canyon. Have lunch in a restaurant overlooking the valley. We continue to Kalaa Magouna famous for its roses and rose products, every year a rose festival is held in May. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

    Day 6 Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Tichka pass - Marrakech.

    On the sixth day of the 8 days tour from Fes to Marrakech, we will drive to Skoura to visit Amridil Kasbah. The drive continues to Ouarzazate, known as the gate to the desert. Also, it is famous for its studios. After having a stop in the atlas studio, we will head to visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a rest point for caravans in the past, and the scene for filming many international movies nowadays. Lunch in a restaurant overlooking the Kasbah. In the afternoon, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains, enjoy the sceneries while driving through the Tizi-Ntichka pass. Arrival at our accommodation in Marrakech. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

    Day 7 Marrakech Highlights.

    After breakfast, we will be doing a city tour exploring Marrakech with an English-speaking guide. Visit the historic Menara gardens of olive trees surrounding a large central lake, Majorelle garden, and the Koutoubia mosque which is very similar to the Giralda of Seville. Then the Saadian tombs, famous for its delicate decorations and pure architectural lines. Walk in the alleys of the different quarters of the Souk. Conclude the day in Jamaa El Fna square. Dinner and overnight in a riad.

    Day 8 Marrakech - Menara airport.
