It is difficult to single out the best among Morocco’s beaches; they are all distinguished by the purity of the sand and water. We can divide the very long coastline of the country into the Mediterranean (smaller) and Atlantic (large) parts. The main coastal cities of the country are on the Atlantic coast: Tangier, Casablanca, Essaouira, and Agadir. The Mediterranean coast is not very suitable for beaches, as its shores are high and steep.
