The excursion to the Agafay desert consists of 2 days and 1 night. Firstly, departing from Marrakech and arriving in this same city. Therefore, you will have no problem fitting this getaway in the program of your vacation in this attractive tourist destination. 

Day 1: Marrakech – Asni Valley / Kik Plateau – Agafay Desert

To start this excursion to the Agafay desert, our driver and English-speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel in Marrakech. Ahead there will be about 40 km of travel. This short distance will allow us to plan a quiet ride to enjoy the scenery, which has the High Atlas Mountains as a permanent backdrop.

By the way, if we make this excursion to the Agafay desert in autumn, winter, or spring, its peaks will appear snowy, creating a striking landscape contrast. In any case, whatever the season was chosen. We can stop to take pictures or visit some of the Berber villages along the way.

Day 2: Agafay desert – Marrakech

If the sunset and the night are spectacular in the Agafay desert, the sunrise is no less spectacular. In our Berber tents camp, you can enjoy the first hours of this new day, which gradually fills with color and intensity. And in these early stages of the day, you will also enjoy a full breakfast, included in the trip.

On this second day of the excursion to the Agafay desert, we will head back to Marrakech at the agreed time. But before that, we can also add activities and unforgettable experiences (optional). For example, the 4×4 routes through the terrain. Also, water activities in Lake Lalla Takerkoust Lake, visits to argan oil cooperatives, dromedary rides and a long etcetera.

On your return to Marrakech, our driver will drop you off at the place of your choice: the hotel, the city center, the international airport, or any other.
