Tips for traveling to Casablanca, Meknes and Fez To go from Meknes to Volubilis you have a couple of options:

Take a “private” grand cab for 350 dirhams which normally includes going to Moulay Idris, a village next to Volubilis, visit it for an hour, go to Volubilis, visit the site for 2 hours and return to Meknès.

And then we have another way a little more difficult but more economical: take a Grand Taxi (gray cars a little longer than the petit cab, but have no identification) in front of L’Institut Français de Meknès in the Vile Nouvelle for 10 dirhams per person, which takes you to Moulay Idris and from there make the change to another Grand Taxi that takes you to Volubilis for 5 dirhams more per person.

Total 60 dirhams against 350 dirhams of the first option. Enough difference to consider which option to choose. Although we must take into account that in the second option we will have to put 6 people in the car (a car like the ones here) with what that means.

To go from Fez to the airport we have a couple of options, the first and easiest is to take a grand cab for 120 dirhams (the petit cab does not reach the airport) and the second is to go to the train station in a petit cab for about 30 dirhams (if they do not consent to put the meter) and there take the bus number 16 for 20 dirhams per person leaves you directly at the airport in about 45 minutes.
